Follow these simple steps to learn about our family program.
Step 1: Read about who benefits from participating in our family program.
Our family program is for parents and kids who range from three years old to young adults (who live with their parents). It’s for anyone who wants to improve his or her brain’s efficiency and reaction to stress.
But our program has also specifically helped thousands of people with diagnoses, such as autism, ADHD, OCD, CAPD, PTSD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, sensory processing disorder, and learning disabilities yield remarkable, lasting changes. It has additionally helped thousands of people with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, resistance, meltdowns, transitions, focus, distorted fears, insomnia, lack of confidence, and social skills.
That’s because incomplete lower brain development and an inflexible nervous system—the primary focus of our family program—are often the missing pieces of the puzzle for helping such people move forward.
Step 2: Watch these one-minute trailers with these two thoughts in mind.
Anyone can change his or her brain - whether such changes are small or monumental.
All kinds of changes are possible, which means such potential is not limited to just these kids' experiences.
This trailer focuses on how Levi, a child with autism, is now speaking after being nonverbal for the first seven years of his life. If you'd like to learn additional ways that Levi has also changed, click here to watch the full video (3:38).
This trailer shows how Ella is no longer experiencing debilitating, panic attacks. If you'd like to learn more about Ella's journey, click here to watch the full video (4:33).
Step 3: Listen to these three audios to learn how an inflexible nervous system adversely affects our lives.
Step 4: Read “How We’re Different” to learn how our program is truly unique.
Step 5: If you haven’t done so, watch the short videos at the top of our home page. If you've already watched those videos, go on to Step 6.
The first two, one-minute videos explain why lower brain development is important and how to get out of survival mode. The following six videos show how incomplete lower brain development may be showing up in your child’s life—in ways you may not have realized.
Note that the stars of those videos are prior participants from the family program. While they're now just acting in the videos, that’s how their life used to be. So, when you watch these videos, you may find yourself saying, “That’s MY child!” Or, you may even say, “That’s ME!”
The last video is of Nancy Green's San Diego's TEDx talk to 200 participants at the University of California, which was also streamed to another 8,000 people.
Step 6: If you'd like a preview of a few topics that we address in our family program, listen to the following audios. Or, go straight to Step 7.
